Meet the teacher

Aniqa Rashid

Founder and founding teacher. An award-winning Muslim educator, chaplain, mentor and community leader with over twenty years of service to mosques, madrasahs, schools, charities and faith-based organisations across the UK.

A graduate of the traditional Islamic sciences since 2005, Aniqa brings Islamic scholarship together with professional practice in education, leadership, pastoral care and community development. Her work has spanned early years leadership, secondary and sixth form teaching, NHS chaplaincy, humanitarian aid, and studies in Islamic psychology and healing.

She has founded and directed a children's nursery and served eight years as an NHS chaplain, supporting diverse communities through faith-sensitive care. A two-time recipient of the Beacon Mosque Award, she is committed to helping mosques, madrasahs and Muslim women build healthier, safer and more inclusive environments — and it is this combination of scholarship and pastoral practice that gives The Prophetic Pathway its centre of gravity.
